Operating principle
  

 

 

FARBAL shrink tunnels feature good output and excellent thermal insulation.

 

They are driven by mobile bar or grid conveyor belts, with speeds that can be set from 2 to 30 metres per minute and power from 12 to 120 kW.

 

Through heights of 200 to 1400 mm and widths between 400 and 3500 mm.


The shrink tunnels retract the plastic film enveloping the sleeve-wrapped product, to create a compact assembly.

Hot air ventilation inside the tunnel is used for the retraction process. At the tunnel exit, the plastic film is pasted against the side of the product to create the side seal.

 

Shrink tunnels may be synchronised with all plastic packaging machines on the packaging line.
